Vets Canada
Hello, it has been a while!
Time to brush the dust off the old key board and share some thoughts and gleams of wisdom.
The Missus and I were trolling through Facebook this morning and came across an article about Vets Canada.
We want to send out a plug to this organization.
This is a grass roots movement that is really getting on with business working with vets. They are a federally registered non-profit charity that has a network of 135,000 and hundreds of dedicated volunteers across the country, most of who are ex-military/RCMP that was started in 2010/2011 in Nova Scotia by Jim Lowther. Their mandate is to ‘seek out and provide initial aid and comfort to homeless and at-risk vets’.
If you feel you can make a difference for this movement, you can volunteer, tell your friends and spread the word, or donate. Visit their website at https://vetscanada.org to find out how and to get more information on this great cause
