Okay troops, start your engines!

This week I am going to apply for my military records. These would be a really good thing to have if I were going to submit a claim, or maybe to apply for a civilian job to verify my courses.

It took me awhile to figure out which form to use, but finally came up with this one http://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/transparency/atip/Pages/privacy-notice.aspx?type=MIL to apply on-line and this one http://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/Generics/atip/Documents/15-249l_EN_Request_for_Military_Service_Files.pdf to print, fill out and send to:

Access to Information and Privacy Coordinator

National Defence Headquarters

101 Colonel By Drive Ottawa, ON K1A OK2

I decided to fill out the on-line form. Once I got started it was very easy, just needed to fill in the boxes upload my proof of service and hit submit. I will let you know when I receive them.
